Chlorhexidine digluconate 2% cobalt aqueous solution (SepsiCob) is intended for cavity disinfection and dentin surface moistening prior to restoration. It is recommended to use this solution after tooth preparation or etching before dentinal tubule sealing. Cavity preparation with 2% chlorhexidine, by inhibiting MMP enzymes, can reduce post-restoration sensitivity.
