Liquid calcium hydroxide cobalt is a mixture of polyethylene glycol of different weights that creates a uniform paste of calcium hydroxide and increases the working time of the calcium. It also places a higher concentration of hydroxyl ions and calcium in the vicinity of the root dentin due to the greater solubility of calcium and penetrates into the dentin in a greater environment.
