Instructions for using cobalt-bonded porcelain

Product Description:

  • Cobalt Porcelain Bond is a HEMA monomer-free, unfilled resin used as a bonding agent for porcelain veneers and lithium disilicate, an enamel bonding agent.
  • Unlike ivory bonding, this product does not contain solvents and the hydrophilic monomer HEMA and can also be used as a wetting agent for polyethylene fibers.

Components:

One bottle of 6 grams

Uses:

Bonding agent on the surface of porcelain and lithium disilicate veneers Bonding agent on the surface of enamel (e.g. in fissure sealants) Resin wetting agent for polyethylene fibers Composite pen wetting agent in direct and indirect composite treatments

How to use:

Use as a porcelain bond: After preparing the veneer surface and preparing the tooth surface according to the restoration and bonding instructions used, pour a drop of porcelain bond on the veneer surface and, without curing, place the appropriate amount of resin cement on the restoration surface and place it on the desired tooth. Then cure. Note that although the time required for the cure of cobalt porcelain bond is 15 seconds, follow the instructions of the material used for complete cure of the resin cement. . Use as an enamel bonding agent: After ensuring the presence of enamel throughout the bonding surface (in the treatment of superficial caries, fissure sealants and orthodontic bracket bonding), etch the desired surface with 37% phosphoric acid for 30 seconds. After thorough acid washing and complete drying of the enamel, apply a drop of resin to the enamel surface with a microbrush. After 10 seconds, spread the bonding on the surface with gentle air pressure. Then cure for 15 seconds. Use as a pen wetting agent: Pour one or two drops of resin into a well and after placing the first layer of composite in the tooth cavity, dip the pen into the resin and shape the composite layer into the desired shape. Then cure the composite. You can do this until the restoration is complete. Note that although the time required for curing cobalt-bond porcelain is 15 seconds, follow the instructions for the composite used to fully cure the composite. After using this product, close the bottle cap and store at the appropriate temperature.
