Instructions for using LightCure Cobalt Temporary Dressing

Product Description:

• Cobalt optical dressing is used to fill the cavities of the teeth between treatment sessions. This product is available in two colors: cream-pink and purple-blue, and after complete cure it turns cream or blue. The initial dark color of the product helps the dentist to place the dressing in the desired areas, and the change in color of the product to a lighter color after curing provides the required aesthetic. This product can also be used as an orifice indicator of endo canals in blue and the cream color can be used in the upper layers where aesthetics are more important.
• It should be noted that although the presence of a dark color indicates that the product is not fully cured, its color change to the desired color does not indicate complete cure, and the recommended time for complete product cure (40 seconds) should be considered.

Components:

One 3 gram syringe, two special tips

Place the required amount of optical dressing into the cavity and cure for 40 seconds. It is best to form the last layer with a thickness of less than 1 mm for best shaping. It is recommended to never cure optical dressing in large volumes or with a thickness greater than 4 mm at once.

Removing the dressing from the cavity:

To remove the dressing from the tooth cavity, you can remove the dressing from the cavity in one piece by removing the mechanical grip or remove the dressing by completely cutting it. The color contrast of this product with the tooth texture prevents the dentist from accidentally cutting the tooth.

Clinical tips during work:

If used in cavities without macromechanical retention, it is best to use a layer of banding on the enamel around the cavity to improve the retention of the dressing. This product is intended for dental use only, by dentists. Do not use after the expiration date.

Warning:

Use with caution in patients with a history of chemical sensitivity. In case of accidental eye contact, immediately rinse eyes with plenty of water and consult a doctor as soon as possible.

Storage conditions:

Store at a temperature of 5-25°C.
