Instructions for using 40% cobalt citric acid solution

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Product Description:

  • A 40% solution of cobalt citric acid is used as a canal irrigator during root canal treatment. This material helps to mechanically clean the canal.
  • This product removes the smear layer from the root dentin surface, exposes dentinal tubules, and improves sealer penetration.

How to use:

Shake the bottle before use. For the first use, remove the bottle cap and replace it with the bottle connector. After replacing, make sure that the connector is sealed and that the irrigator does not leak from the bottle cap. Connect the irrigating syringe to the connector. Fill the syringe by bending the bottle and creating negative pressure in the syringe. At this stage, remove the syringe by placing the bottle on a flat surface. After use, close the Luerlock cap on the connector and prevent the bottle from bending for a long time. In mechanical canal preparation, pour the solution into the root canal with the irrigating head and perform the filing operation. Finally, remove the solution from the root space with normal saline.

Clinical tips when working with the product:

Avoid leaving the solution in the canal between treatment sessions. This can cause excessive dissolution and softening of the root dentin.

Caution:

Since this product can cause irritation and sensitivity when in contact with oral tissue, it is recommended to use a rubber dam when using this product.

It is best not to use this product in the treatment of teeth with root perforation.
If the product accidentally splashes into the eyes, rinse the eyes with plenty of water and consult a doctor if necessary. Use with caution in patients with a history of chemical sensitivity.
